Texas Department of Public Safety Required Unarmed & Armed Security Officers to Be Licensed. 

Here at J&J we offer Unarmed Security Officers who are properly trained to write reports, observe, and respond to emergency situations. 

Also adding our Armed Security Officers who are well trained in weapon proficiency as well as in weapon safety.

They are both focused on how to deter crime or prevent violence, providing a safe environment with excellent customer service. Our management team will ensure the officers receive training in handling security technology required for your property along with on-site training.

With your security objectives in mind besides the State of Texas license requirements, J&J employs and matches the right officers based on levels of experience, aptitude, professionalism, intercommunication skills and character.

Each J&J officer must pass an extensive interview process, a comprehensive background investigation, a drug and alcohol screen test and an Aptitude Test. We fully understand and celebrate the diversity of Houston and the surrounding area. The importance of an officer that speaks a particular language. If you have a language preference and is one of your requirements, we will assign an officer with such an advantage.

When assigning a Security Officer to your location, J&J provides the Officers with an Automated Reporting System. This includes a GPS and Guard Tour System that allows our management team to follow the officer’s real time movement, collect detailed reports about the client’s site, receive notifications and incident reports instantly. All reports will be available to you at your request.

Our J &J team is highly qualified to conduct risk assessments, we evaluate your current security program of your property, we identify the weaknesses within the system, anticipate potential risks, and customize security solutions to optimize your particular security goals, suggesting security solutions to optimize your particular security goals, suggesting operations that are not just efficient but also cost-efficient. The simple presence of an Off-Duty/Retired Police Officer is the most effective crime deterrent, always creating a calm and safe environment. 

According to your specifications and the level of protection for your business or people require, an officer can wear plain clothes or can be uniformed for high visibility. A service that proves extremely effective in situations when multiple locations are needed to be patrolled within a shift or for locations that are just too large to be covered by an officer on foot. The best candidates are retail, medical and business centers or residential subdivisions.
